The Jefferson from Best Barns is a 2 story model which can be used for a single car garage, large storage building or perhaps a workshop. During construction either a 9 ft. or 8 ft. W garage door can be installed to suit your needs. The garage door is not included which allows the homeowner to purchase the size, style and color of their choice. See your local Home Depot for in stock or special order doors. The 16 ft. W Jefferson provides 2 floors of unobstructed space without interior walls or supports required. 8 ft. 1 in. H side walls on the lower level can be insulated if desired. The loft area offers 7 ft. 1 in. of headroom at center with plenty of room for storage right to the outside walls. The included 9-Lite 32 in. walk-in door (not included) can be installed on any wall for additional access. The 'L' shaped stair can be positioned on either the right or left side of the wall opposite the garage door. The Jefferson must be constructed on a floor, not included, appropriate to your needs. This can be a cement slab, basement, post and beam wood floor, etc. are common foundation choices. Check with your local permit authority to see if a permit is required before placing your order. Building can be shipped directly to you via curbside delivery or delivered to your local Home Depot store. Windows and Floor are not included. Shingles purchased by homeowner. Paint not included.
